How to play Block Hero
Drag, drop, clear a line. The rules take ten seconds — the score is the part that keeps you playing.
Step by step
- Drag one of the three shapes onto the 8×8 grid and let go where you want it to land.
- Fill an entire row or column and every block in that line blasts away.
- Keep placing shapes until the board is full — then the round ends and your score is final.
Habits that raise your score
Leave room for the big pieces: the square and the long bar need open space to fit.
Fill from the corners outward instead of the middle — a hole in the middle is harder to repair.
Clear lines early rather than as a last resort; a nearly full board gives you almost nowhere to place.
Nothing is timed, so look at the empty spaces before you drop the shape.
Why the shapes are different every round
Block Hero hands you random shapes, so no two rounds are the same. That randomness is the whole challenge: you cannot memorise a pattern, you can only keep the board flexible.
